About ME
While growing up
in South Jersey, I graduated in the top of my high school class while playing both classical piano and tennis competitively, which, in case you didn't know, is every Asian parents' dream.
However, when I arrived for my first day at the University of Chicago and said, "Hi, my name is E-Kan, and I'm an econ major", I knew I was meant to be on a bigger stage. I soon began writing and performing live in original sketch and stage shows on campus, and eventually moved to Los Angeles.
Most recently you can catch me on CBS’s NCIS (“Bears and Cubs”, Ep 16, S. 16) and ABC’s The Rookie, starring Nathan Fillion, (“Caught Stealing”, Ep. 13, Feb. 19, 2019). Besides acting in tv, film, and commercials, I enjoy starring in, writing, and directing my own projects, including the award-winning webseries Born Losers, and "No Laughing Matter: Tears of a Clown". Other projects I created and star in are the live comedy sports show, "ASPN", which is streaming on Project Alpha, a partnership between Nerdist and Geek and Sundry. I believe one can always get better at their craft and continue to study at Lesly Kahn. I have also studied at Sharon Chatten and the Second City.
